The Inspire Artwork Vision

Envisioning the feasibility and practical benefits of creating a centre to create and promote the arts.

Hastings has traditionally supported and nurtured more classical and traditional arts, but with its renovation and modernization there is the calling for more alternative and contemporary arts. We realize this as an extremely important opportunity during this juncture as Hastings prepares itself for the demands of this new time period.

What we aim to do

Our aim is to build a creative arts center that is dedicated to the young and older people of our community that it serves.
The people respond to arts, it is not the Damien Hursts that people look towards for inspiration or guidance it is the bright vibrant radiating images that speak the language of their generation, at one point the Beatles were considered a passing fad that the older generation didn’t relate to then they became the voice of their generation and inspired countless millions of people in infinite ways to say the least.
It is more than just getting a centre and putting people in it, on the contrary we are devoted, determined and focused to doing the best that we can and reaching the best that we can achieve at every juncture. We have a vested interest and love for the arts and have experience in all the functional elements that have been named, as well as growing relationships with many professional artists and skilled people and working relationships with the young and older people, our aim is to bring all these elements together. There will be employees at the same time the young and older people will be a functional member of the operation and running of the centre.
There by our aim is to obtain and maintain the highest standard in the service that we provide, and making sure that all who work, provide support or who are contracted live up to and maintain the high standard that we hold, thereby ensuring that the people are given the greatest chances of achieving their highest success, whether that is to have a creative place to go and paint or make music or to train to become a graphic designer with a scope to start their own business.
